We have mastered complex Channels, such as the computer industry. This program included the manufacturer's sales staff, 14 manufacturer rep organizations, three major distributors and their respective several hundred person sales forces.The program also included almost 3,000 sales staff across computer Dealers, VAR's, VAD's, Remarketers, Resellers, Retailers, and Catalog Companies. As the leading high end scanner company, LinoColor was trying to drive home the brand name and add value to its brand perception. To accomplish this, an upscale collection of Picture Perfect Rewards was assembled with a screaming yellow Yamaha wave runner on the cover of their Rewards Catalog. Alluring weekend getaways and week long dream vacations were featured along with the latest in golf clubs, sporting goods, and diamond jewelry. The wave runner was brought to three industry trade shows and given away in sweepstakes to one of the dealers who had gone through all the product displays, passed the quiz and was lucky enough to get picked. The result of this program was the recruitment of 32 new dealers to cover the product line, measurably enhanced brand perception and a full 26% increase in LinoColor Sales, while the price of the product increased. |
